Standley Floors Ltd - Terms of Service

1. General Terms By accepting an estimate, placing an order, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms of Service. Standley Floors Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.

2. Estimates & Orders

  • All estimates are valid for 14 days from the date issued.

  • Estimates are subject to change based on site conditions or additional requirements.

  • Orders are confirmed upon receipt of deposit or full payment.

  • Custom or special-order items cannot be cancelled or refunded after confirmation.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payments must be made in full before work begins unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may incur additional fees, including interest charges and collection costs.

  • Goods remain the property of Standley Floors Ltd until full payment is received.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of placement, subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has commenced will be charged for materials and labour incurred.

  • Rescheduling must be requested at least 7 days in advance; last-minute changes may incur additional fees.

5. Installation & Site Preparation

  • Customers must ensure the installation area is clear and ready for work.

  • Additional charges may apply for removing furniture, skirting boards, or old flooring.

  • Standley Floors Ltd is not responsible for pre-existing structural issues that may affect the flooring installation.

6. Warranty & Liability

  • Standley Floors Ltd provides a 24-month workmanship guarantee.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to products, subject to proper care and usage.

  • Standley Floors Ltd is not liable for damages caused by misuse, improper maintenance, or environmental factors.

7. Waste Disposal

  • Standley Floors Ltd will bag waste materials and leave them on-site unless otherwise agreed.

  • Customers are responsible for arranging waste disposal unless additional removal services are booked.

8. Delivery & Collection

  • Delivery dates are estimated and subject to delays beyond our control.

  • Customers must inspect deliveries upon arrival and report any damages within 24 hours.

  • Standley Floors Ltd is not responsible for damages occurring after delivery is accepted.

9. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate measurements and job specifications.

  • Any additional work required due to inaccurate information may result in extra charges.

  • Customers should ensure pets and children are kept away from the work area during installation.
